Exhibition at The Convent Gallery - Daylesford

It has been around 3 months since 'The Convent Gallery' Daylesford, asked for fourteen (14) Artworks to sell and exhibit at their gorgeous Gallery. What once took two (2) weeks to complete a single Artwork, now I needed to do at least one (1) to two (2) per week! It has been an exhausting but rewarding adventure knowing that I made a commitment to myself to finish them, and have completed the task!

It was the first time I have also written a CV, Bio and Artist Statement, and I am still a little unsure if I had done this correctly, but it has been emailed, so cross fingers!

'Described as “the most beautiful art gallery in Australia”, the Convent is a multi-award winning tourist destination in Daylesford'.

The Convent is Daylesford’s most iconic building. Nestled on the crest of Wombat Hill, over-looking Daylesford, this 19th century old building was a convent and boarding school for almost 90 years. Now, under one magnificently restored roof you will discover a rich and beautiful tapestry of experiences. Over four levels, there are seven gallery spaces, a museum, chapel, gift shop, café, bar and function rooms, all incorporating art, history and culture. Surrounded by fragrant and beautifully groomed gardens and panoramic views of Victoria’s picturesque central highlands, a visit to The Convent Daylesford is truly a divine experience.

As I have mentioned, I have 14 original pieces (a mixture of 91.5cm x 1.2m and 1.2m x 1.2m) ready to hang pieces and for sale in the Exhibition. All NEW work that I have been very excited to be able to showcase.

If you are around Geelong, Melbourne, Daylesford or Victoria between the 6th July - 30th August 2023, you must head to this gorgeous Gallery, the grounds are exquisite, and the building is just beautiful to visit. If you are out of town or Overseas, you are welcome to a catalogue to view works and prices, just email the Gallery on their website, and/or contact them on the phone number provided.
